FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does MailSequence bring together?

MailSequence covers the core cold-email workflow: business inboxes, campaigns, sending pools, warmup, verification, AI assistance, reply handling, suppression, analytics, and automation through its API, webhooks, and MCP server.

How does MailSequence fit into my sales stack?

Keep using the data, CRM, and sales tools that work for your team. MailSequence provides the campaign sending, reply management, deliverability controls, and automation layer, with plans starting at $29 per month.

Do you provide inboxes or domains?

Yes. Your plan includes a defined allowance of provisioned business inboxes, with no markup on that allowance at launch. You can also connect supported inboxes you already own. Additional inboxes, sending domains, and customer-owned provider subscriptions cost extra.

Why focus on business inboxes?

MailSequence uses authenticated business mailboxes, documented setup, and conservative controls. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 use OAuth for mailbox synchronization and separately verified SMTP credentials for sending. You can also purchase and connect preconfigured business inboxes inside MailSequence.

Does MailSequence guarantee inbox placement?

No platform can guarantee inbox placement. MailSequence provides warmup, rotation, limits, monitoring, and early risk controls, while your domains, list quality, copy, volume, and recipient behavior still affect delivery.

Can I use free Gmail accounts?

No. MailSequence is built for real business inboxes on owned domains.

Is there a free trial?

MailSequence starts with a paid plan. A useful evaluation requires your domains, business inboxes, DNS, sending limits, lead list, and a real campaign.

How does the one-campaign migration work?

Use an authorized Smartlead or Instantly API key for a read-only compatibility check. Confirm the records available, transfer only the supported scope, reconnect inboxes, and verify suppressions. Keep the source campaign running until the MailSequence campaign is ready, then launch conservatively.

What happens when AI fails?

AI is best-effort and non-blocking. Core sending and workflow operations continue even if an AI provider is unavailable.

Replace the cost, keep the workflow.

Connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 inboxes, create a campaign, and launch with warmup and safe limits.
