1. Scope and what we collect

This policy explains how MailSequence, operated by Pranab Salian, handles personal information when you visit mailsequence.com, create an account, buy a subscription, connect a mailbox, or use the Service. We collect account and business information; transaction and subscription records; product usage, device, log, and security data; support communications; and the campaign data you submit, including contacts, sequences, and mailbox metadata.

Payment details are collected by our payment provider. We receive transaction identifiers, billing contact details, status, tax location, and limited payment-method information such as brand and last four digits, but we do not store full card numbers.

2. Mailbox access

Mailbox connections use OAuth or other credentials authorized by you for supported Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, SMTP, and IMAP accounts. OAuth is used for mailbox synchronization and reply handling; separately provided SMTP credentials are used for sending. We do not sell mailbox contents, and you can disconnect access from MailSequence or the applicable provider.

3. How and why we use data

We use information to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service; authenticate users; process orders and subscriptions; send campaigns at your direction; warm connected inboxes; retrieve replies and bounces; compute analytics; prevent abuse; comply with law; and communicate about accounts and transactions. Where applicable, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent.

Content submitted to an optional AI action may be processed by our AI providers to return the requested result. We do not use customer campaign data to advertise to contacts.

4. Website analytics

This marketing site uses Plausible Analytics, a cookieless analytics service. It does not use cross-site identifiers. Plausible receives limited request and usage data to produce aggregate website statistics.

5. How we share information

We share information with service providers only as needed for hosting, authentication, analytics, email connectivity, AI actions you request, customer support, fraud prevention, payment processing, tax compliance, and other core operations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell personal information.

6. Data retention and security

We retain account and service data while your account is active and afterward only as needed for legitimate operational, security, backup, tax, accounting, dispute, and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by data type and obligation. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You can update account information and export supported campaign data from the Service. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law permits or requires it.

8. International processing and children

MailSequence and its providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable transfer safeguards. The Service is intended for business users aged 18 or older and is not directed to children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service or law changes. We will post the updated version here, change the effective date, and provide additional notice when required.
